Yazici said that a discriminatory policy was being implemented against the Muslims of Myanmar.
Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade, Hayati Yazici on Saturday called on all Turks to provide aid to the Muslims of Myanmar living in Arakan state.
Speaking at a fast-breaking meal hosted by the Municipality of Basaksehir in Istanbul province, Yazici said that a discriminatory policy was being implemented against the Muslims of Myanmar.
Turkey's sensitivity on the issue is at an advanced stage, Yazici stressed.
"Accounts have been opened in Turkish public banks to help the Muslims of Myanmar. I invite all of our citizens to join in the aid campaign for the Muslims of Myanmar," Yazici also said.
