Prime Minister Erdogan has arrived in Tunisia as part of a regional tour that will also take him to Libya.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Tunis late on Wednesday on the second leg of a four-day tour to the Middle East and North Africa.
Erdogan, who completed his two-day official visit to Egypt and proceeded to Tunisia, was welcomed by his Tunisian counterpart Beji Caid el Sebsi upon his arrival at Carthage Airport.
Meanwhile, thousands of Tunisians waiting outside the airport waved Turkish, Tunisian and Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in favor of Erdogan.
