President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will pay an official visit to Jordan on August 21, 2017, at the invitation of King Abdullah II of Jordan.
Bilateral relations as well as opportunities to boost mutual trade and investments will be discussed during the visit.
Consultations will be held with an aim to enhance cooperation and coordination between Turkey and Jordan, as the two countries that border Syria and Iraq, within the framework of their efforts to secure regional peace and stability, during the visit, which will also provide an opportunity to address regional developments, the issue of Palestine in particular.
The visit is of special importance in that it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic relations with Jordan, with which we enjoy deep-rooted historical, humanitarian and cultural ties.
Respectfully announced to the public!
