Turkey's deputy prime minister expressed eagerness to see Chinese banks in Turkey.
Ali Babacan said Turkey wanted Chinese banks to make more business and open more branches in its territories.
"We also want Turkish banks to be more active in China. Two governments have launched initiatives regarding mutual licenses," Babacan said during Turkey-China Economic and Commercial Cooperation Forum in Istanbul

Turkey's economy minister said Turkey and China should balance their trade volume.
Zafer Caglayan said Turkey had only one-tenth share in its trade volume with China, and China had nine-tenth share.

Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping said Turkish and Chinese businesspeople signed economy and trade agreements worth 4.3 billion U.S. dollars. Xi participated in the meeting of Turkey-China Economic and Commercial Cooperation Forum.
