President Erdoğan spoke at the "July 15th at its 10th Anniversary: The Will is Ours, the Victory is Ours" program
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan attended the “July 15 on its 10th Anniversary: Our Will, Our Victory” Event in Ankara.
Welcoming all the guests participating in the event, President Erdoğan saluted all the 86 million citizens in the 81 cities, and wished Allah’s mercy upon the 253 martyrs who lost their lives in the bloody night of treason, extending his sympathies to the 2,737 ghazis who were wounded while resisting the putschist traitors that night.
“TURKISH NATION MADE HISTORY ON THE NIGHT OF JULY 15”
Underscoring that the Turkish nation, including the youth and the elderly, men and women, made a great history on the night of July 15, President Erdoğan noted that the citizens abroad and the friends in the kindred geographies mobilized themselves that night as well and prayed to Allah for Türkiye and the Turkish nation, and said: “As was the case 10 years ago, the world keeps its eyes on us today as well. The world watches the Turkish nation today as well. They watch you. Beirut, Damascus, Aleppo, Tripoli, Lebanese Tripoli and Sarajevo follow us. The innocent children of Gaza, the West Bank and al-Quds watch us. The oppressed and the downtrodden, from the Middle East to the Balkans, from the Caucasus to Africa, look at Türkiye with great hopes. We will inshallah give no space to those who resort to all kinds of dirty scenarios to thwart these hopes.”
“WE CANNOT GIVE WAY TO COMPLACENCY IN OUR FIGHT AGAINST FETO”
Stressing that although the terrorist organization FETO has ran out of hope and motivation after its ringleader died, Türkiye cannot give way to complacency in its fight against this insidious network, President Erdoğan added that the fight against FETO will continue as long as the organization exists, and that they will patiently maintain the fight against FETO on legal grounds until the danger completely passes.
Further stating that terrorist organizations have reached the end of the road, and that no one can achieve anything by being hostile towards Türkiye, President Erdoğan pointed out that Türkiye has more than enough strength to eliminate all kinds of threats against itself, and said: “I believe that Türkiye, with Allah’s permission, will not go through dark periods from now on so long as the People’s Alliance is strong. No one can stand in Türkiye’s way so long as the July 15 spirit and the Yenikapı spirit are alive. No one can put shackles on our people’s will so long as they are vigilant, close ranks and protect their unity and solidarity.”
