President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the 955th anniversary celebrations of the Victory of Manzikert in the Ahlat district of Bitlis.
“We are working tirelessly to unite the brotherhood of 86 million people on a single page, in a single composition, as is the case in Ahlat. Rest assured that we will all witness the rise of a great and powerful Türkiye on the horizon. We will uphold the sacred legacy of our martyrs and veterans all together, and carry Türkiye to a much stronger future. When the terror-free Türkiye process, which we signaled from Ahlat two years ago, reaches its goal, inshallah, a new era will begin for our nation.”
“A GREAT AND POWERFUL TÜRKİYE HAS DAWNED”
“Our brotherhood will grow stronger along with our economy. Our prosperity will boost the resilience of our domestic front. Our neighbors, especially Syria and Iraq, will achieve the peace and stability they have longed for for years. All the brotherly peoples in our geography, along with Türkiye and the Turkish nation, will win. We know who are upset by this, we know who are worried. I say to them, no matter what you do, you cannot deter us from our path. You cannot prevent us from embracing one another as brothers and sisters, as Turks, Kurds, and Arabs,” President Erdoğan said.
“The blood merchants will lose, the opportunists who profit from terrorism will lose, the genociders who seek to plunge our region into instability will lose. Humanity, brotherhood, peace and stability will win. The winner will be the Turkish nation with its 86 million citizens. Let there be no doubt; a great and powerful Türkiye has dawned. The construction of the Century of Türkiye has begun,” President Erdoğan said.
